I joined the Gilmore group at UConn in 2021, where my research focuses on the synthesis of small molecules using sustainable techniques such as flow chemistry and sonication. I am passionate about Green Chemistry because it not only drives innovation in materials and processes but also optimizes efficiency—both in terms of yield and environmental impact. I believe that a fundamental understanding of Green Chemistry should be integral to every scientist’s training, and I appreciate GCI’s efforts to promote sustainability and awareness at UConn.
